Here we go my first post for the year and it starts on a sad note.
I thought that while I'm watching the afternoon news here in Tasmania, I watch in sadness to see all the damage from the shocking fires that have ravage our beautiful state. We have lost one gorgeous little town of Dunnalley, which I have such fond memories of.
As a child my parents owned a shack on the peninsula at White Beach, and a stop over at Dunnalley was a must. Then as a adult, hubby and I would travel down there for getaways with friends, and with cars full of young adults we would stop at the Dunnalley Bakery for travel munchies!
I feel for the residents of this area and the surrounded small town and the rest of our beautiful state that are still dealing with these shocking fires. So as I sit and watch the news in shock I wish for rain!
